Deepti Hooda

Junior Research Fellow

Deepti has acquired her M.Sc degree from Department of Environmental Studies, Central University of Haryana, Mahendergarh. During her M.Sc her research project was oriented towards the feasibility analysis of Solar and Biomass Power Potential in the state of Haryana and Punjab under the supervision of Dr. Nikhil Gakkhar. She completed her graduation from Maharishi Dayanand University, Rohtak (Haryana). In her Master of Science program her internship project was related to Environment Conservation and Rain water harvesting.

Currently she is working as a Junior Research Fellow at SSS NIBE and her research work is focused on the complete heating and emission analysis of raw biomass and pellets during combustion under the supervision of Dr. Nikhil Gakkhar and Dr. Vandit Vijay. Her work also includes biomass characterization that includes physical, chemical, and thermal analysis of agro-residue biomass. She enjoys playing chess, singing and dancing. She has received Gold Medal in Chess in National Rural Federation Games in year 2016.
